Good Morning Britain's festive surprise

Wales Air Ambulance featured on ITV’s Good Morning Britain this week, when the charity flew Santa to a special little girl in Cardigan, West Wales.

The charity teamed up with Good Morning Britain so five year-old Cora could meet Santa. Three years ago, she was airlifted by pilot Capt Grant Elgar and the WAA team following a serious road traffic collision on Boxing Day.

But when the helicopter touched down, there was surprise in store for Grant. Patients and their families had gathered at Cardigan Primary School to say thank you to the unsung hero and tell him just how much he has affected their lives.
