A group of friends ran 5km on an inflatable course and battled gladiators, to raise lifesaving donations for a Welsh helicopter charity.
Eleven friends ran the Chepstow Bounce Run as Team NEPTS, running over a bouncy castle and obstacle course in aid of Wales Air Ambulance.
The Chepstow 5K Bounce Run was held on June 17 in aid of WAA, to help the charity to raise the £6.5 million needed every year to fund its missions.
Each of WAA’s missions cost around £1,500, and the four-helicopter charity can be anywhere in Wales within 20 minutes.
Team NEPTS, made up of Nicholas Rudd, Emily Wyatt, Jayne Hemmings, Sam Hale, Helen Radcliffe, Mark J Jones, Ian Tremlett, Helen Arnold, Lewis Arnold, Lauren Loder and Carl Phillips ran the Chepstow Bounce Run to raise donations for WAA.
Liesel Townley, Wales Air Ambulance Community Coordinator, said: “The Chepstow 5k Bounce Run was set up to raise funds for WAA, to keep us flying across Wales.
“As a charity, we wouldn’t be able to complete our missions across Wales without the support we receive from the people of Wales.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to the organisers of Chepstow Bounce Run, as well as Team NEPTS, for their outstanding support.”
