Brecon Carreg have been supporting Wales Air Ambulance for three years, and are now taking on a new fundraising challenge in support of the charity.
A Brecon Carreg team are taking on fitness challenges between May and October, running up donations for WAA.
#TeamBreconCarreg will be running in races over the next five months, to help the welsh helicopter charity fund its missions across Wales.
For every mile that #TeamBreconCarreg run in training and races, Brecon Carreg will be donating £1 to Wales Air Ambulance.
The Welsh mineral water brand have supported the charity for several years, donating funds to the charity, as well as bottles of their water.
Mark Stevens, Wales Air Ambulance Fundraising Manager, said: “Brecon Carreg have been providing outstanding support for Wales Air Ambulance for the past three years.
“Not only have they been kindly donating to us, but they have also been supporting us by donating Brecon Carreg water. We have been able to use this for our fundraising events and our crew can keep it in the helicopter to stay hydrated during a busy day of missions.
“Now Team Brecon Carreg are running for WAA as well, donating a pound to our charity for each mile they run.
“As a charity, we rely on support and donations to raise to raise the £6.5million needed every year to keep our four helicopters flying. We would like to thank Brecon Carreg of their support, which is helping to fund our missions across Wales.”
