A North Wales event is testing team work, mental resilience and physical stamina – all whilst raising lifesaving donations.
The Snowdonia Challenge is the only event of its kind in the UK, covering over 100km in 3 days in aid of Wales Air Ambulance.
The North Wales challenge, set up by Breese Adventures, is not for the faint hearted and was inspired by military-style training.
Tracey Breese, Breese Adventures, said: “The Snowdonia Challenge will take you on a journey of self-discovery.
“This is not just about challenge and adventure though. Taking part in the Snowdonia Challenge you will be part of an amazing experience where you will explore parts of Snowdonia you've never been before.
“In the evenings, you will get to hear the stories of adventurers from across the UK while sharing your own with others.”
Each morning the group will set off from the beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed, every day following a different route through the stunning Snowdonia mountains and forests.
The marked, marshalled and guided walks will give keen trekkers the chance to get new views of the famous welsh mountain range.
Lynne Garlick, Wales Air Ambulance North Wales Fundraising Manager, said: “Anyone who takes part in the Snowdonia Challenge will be making amazing new memories, as well as raising lifesaving donations which will help to fund Wales Air Ambulance’s helicopter missions.
“As a charity, we rely on kind donations to fund our services, and fundraisers like this are crucial in helping us to raise the £6.5 million needed every year to keep our helicopters flying.”
