Wales Air Ambulance is the all-Wales charity that provides vital air cover for time critical illness or injury. We’re on standby every single day of the year, ready to help anyone in Wales during their most difficult hour of need.

We also operate the Children's Wales Air Ambulance, providing specialist treatment and airlifting some of Wales’ youngest patients.

The charity relies entirely on donations to raise £6.5 million every year, to keep our helicopters flying. Fundraising and generating awareness within Wales’ diverse communities is a vital part of reaching that goal. We also run 18 shops and a cafe, which provide essential income to keep the charity’s helicopters in the air and saving lives.

CRM Systems Analyst (Dafen)

Full Time - 37 Hours per week

Wales Air Ambulance is looking for a Part-Time Media Officer to support the Charity’s Media and PR function, contributing to building our reputation as a leader in our field and driving public support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using a wide range of digital and traditional platforms to ensure that key messages about Wales Air Ambulance are communicated persuasively and coherently to the media, public and supporters, raising the profile of the cause and Charity.

Personal Assistant (Dafen)

Part Time - 22.5 hours (flexible) per/week

Salary - Circa £18,000

Wales Air Ambulance looking for a Personal Assistant to support the Chief Executive, Chair and senior management team. The ideal candidate should also have the credibility to deal effectively with Trustees and other stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate administrative experiences commensurate with the position.  You will have high level communication skills, both written and oral.  You will be able to initiate your own work and have excellent organisational and time management skills. Limited travel to some meetings may be required.

Deputy Shop Manager (Tenby)

Part Time - 22.5 hours per/week

Wage - £7.93 per/hour

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of our retail division at the Wales Air Ambulance Charity. 

We run 17 shops across Wales, which provide essential income to keep the charity’s helicopters in the air and saving lives. 

You will be responsible for helping to run our established Wales Air Ambulance Charity shop in Tenby.  Your experience, energy and enthusiasm will ensure the shop operation is developed to meet our goals, and maximise income for the charity's lifesaving helicopters. 

As part of a dynamic team you will help drive financial performance and quality of service, while maintaining effective working relationships with managers, colleagues, volunteers and the wider community. 

Retail experience, the ability to work under pressure, excellent customer service and strong organisational skills are all essential requirements. Previous charity shop experience and an interest in visual merchandising are desirable. 

The role requires the lifting and handling of heavy items, and the flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a variable rota.
