The Llwchwr Town Band has struck heart chords and helped raise a fantastic £500 for Wales Air Ambulance.

They pitched the idea to start raising money for the helicopter charity last year as nominating them as their charity of the year.  The money was raised through and various fundraising activities throughout the year.

Wales Air Ambulance’s Paul Canning said: “This is a brilliant donation from the Llwchwr Town Band. It’s great to see the local public supporting Wales Air Ambulance and this donation is truly music to my ears. It’s thanks to donations such as this that Wales Air Ambulance is able to raise the £6million needed to operate the service every year.”

The group is availible to play at events throughout the year.
